WBHO has led delivery of some of Southern Africa’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects, including greenfield airport developments, nation-building road projects, international pipelines and landmark building developments.
In Australia, WBHO Infrastructure is part of the WBHO Australia group of companies, which also includes Probuild and Monaco Hickey. In 2015, WBHO Infrastructure undertook a significant expansion and restructuring, with a new head office in Melbourne and offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Geraldton. Bulk and detailed earthworks is a core strength of WBHO Infrastructure – we have undertaken some of Australia’s largest and most challenging earthworks projects across a range of ground conditions, from urban to remote rural locations. We bring a fleet of over 500 plant and experienced personnel to provide clients with an integrated solution that meets their entire earthworks requirements.
We bring multidisciplinary design, logistics and construction management capability to plan and deliver mining infrastructure projects. WBHO Infrastructure has delivered numerous mining infrastructure projects, including collaborating with clients to deliver turnkey infrastructure and accommodation camps in remote areas in Western Australia.
WBHO Infrastructure has expertise in delivering renewable energy assets, including the civil works on Australia’s largest solar farm. Furthermore, our parent company has delivered numerous renewable energy projects, including the largest solar farm in South Africa.
We have dedicated telecommunications delivery teams, that specialise in providing the infrastructure for telecommunications network supply. WBHO Infrastructure communication division operates state-wide, including as a Delivery Partner for nbn’s national broadband delivery program of works.
Our qualified staff bring experience in managing works adjacent to, above and in coordination with freight and passenger rail operations. We understand the requirements and risks of planning and delivering complex urban and remote rural rail infrastructure, and have the proven management strategies to deliver challenging rail works safely while maximising whole of life while minimising impact on the environment and travelling public.
